Well fall finally showed up and two day later summer snuck back in again! Soon though, we will have the first frost which will help put the grass to bed for the winter. The golf course has done well this year. Temperatures have been fairly mild for most of the summer and we were lucky enough to receive rainfall in the month of August which is normally a scorcher! This helped keep the grass much healthier and will be even stronger going into those cold winter months ahead.

As the grass begins to go dormant, winter projects will ensue! Trimming trees, drainage repair, irrigation audits and repairs, and possibly some work on the sand traps will be on our to-do list.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have about the golf course or even yours home lawn!
