Well, so far December doesn’t really feel like December! We are still growing grass in several areas on the golf course which is quite unusual for this late in the year. But I’m sre that will all come to a quick halt pretty soon. Mother Nature may be unpredictable in Texas but it’s inevitable that she will send some cold, nasty weather our way sometime soon!
In the mean time we will keep mowing grass and continue with our winter projects.
One quick note for everyone. Don’t forget to water your lawn occasionally throughout the winter months even if your grass is dormant. When we do receive that extreme cold weather, that added moisture will help protect the roots of your turf and it will have a better chance of making thru the winter.
